Skomes’ sought after debut release Mindloops Ona Heartbeat is getting a follow up with Vol. II. His first volume of musical sketches was received graciously by the beats community, diggers and heads alike grabbed a copy of his loops quickly. Having forged a sound so distinct with his first release, Vol.II now boasts the same kind of flavour that Skomes’ beats naturally contain, however, the new release is slightly more ‘finished’ when compared with its predecessor; this isn’t a bad thing at all. Vol.II also featuring a track with one of this country’s most inimitable artists, with whom Skomes has formed the group SO.CRATES.
